Our driplines starter fitting used to connect the main water supply line to the beginning of a drip line or drip tape in our irrigation system. It essentially allows water to flow from the source into the drip emitters that deliver water directly to the plants.

Purpose:
* To create a secure and leak-proof connection between the water supply and the drip line.
* Often incorporates a filter to prevent debris from clogging the drip emitters.
* Some may include a pressure regulator to ensure the drip line operates at the correct pressure.
Types:
Based on the connection type to the main supply, they can vary. Some common types in
* Starters with a pressure regulator: Maintain optimal pressure in the drip line.
* Starter connector + rubber (grommet): Used when connecting to a PVC or HDPE pipe, where a hole is punched, the rubber grommet is inserted for a seal, and then the starter connector fits into.
* Connect the drip line to the starter: Our dripline starters have a barbed end designed to fit inside a 8mm,12mm and 16mm.
