This is a type of woven material used to protect crops against birds. Birds are attracted to colorfully fruits or seeds this can lead to reduced harvest as more will be lost through the birds.

What are the benefits of a bird net?
Crop protection; bird nets are birds from damaging the crops especially the the fruits e.g strawberries or millet or even rice
Fish protection; birds nets are placed on top of dam liners where fish are reared to prevent birds like hawks from catching the fish. The bird net will deter the birds by acting as a barrier to them diving into the fish ponds
